I am a YouTuber and when I started my YouTube channel 2 months ago, I didn’t get subscribers initially due to my poor audio. I wanted to go for Rode ($115) and Snowball mic ($75) but they were expensive and I do not wanted to invest that much for a simple mic. Then I tried multiple mics starting from basic lavalier mic ($4-$7 [300-600 Rs]) to BM-800 Condenser mic ($25 [1500 Rs]). Some mics are good some are not, some are not supported in my phone and some didn’t support my DSLR. After so much research finally I found the mic which support all my devices (DSLR, Phone, PC) that is “Boya BY M1 Lavalier Microphone”. I’m already using Boya BY M1 Lavalier Microphone. This mic record excellent sound, and is plug and play simple. It is sensitive enough to pick up some background noises that you might not want, but it seems to strike a good balance. My only complaint is the stand it comes with is plastic and feels cheap and fragile. Be careful threading the stand to the mic, as it took a couple tries before it was turning correctly. I could see people easily stripping the thread of the mic. Overall great bang for the buck.
